A Confident, Elevated Evening From the moment I stepped through the door, the restaurant’s signature blend of atmosphere and design immediately reaffirmed why I’ve always loved this space. The hostess—young, dark-haired, and absolutely exceptional—set the tone with a warm welcome and a level of professionalism that made the entire front-of-house team quite literally snap to attention the moment I rounded the corner. It was a masterclass in hospitality. Cocktails and wine service were on point. We opened with an Old Fashioned and a Lemon Drop—both balanced and well executed—and later paired dinner with two glasses of Honig Sauvignon Blanc, which complemented our selections beautifully. For starters, we opted for the Caesar salad and the Ahi tuna. The Caesar arrived as a surprisingly generous portion—good, though large enough to share. The Ahi tuna, however, was plated with genuine artistry: perfectly seared slices arranged over a nostalgic, black-board-eraser–shaped bed of rice, all resting atop bok choy. Very well done. While it didn’t quite eclipse my benchmark from the long-closed Tin Fish in Mokena, IL—where the tuna was served unsliced like a filet mignon alongside those unforgettable, oven-blasted smashed potatoes—it was still a standout dish. The only culinary miss for me was the bread service. The rolls skewed more toward donut territory than fresh, savory table bread. Service pacing was efficient, though I experienced a small moment of disconnect. I arrived about ten minutes ahead of my wife and was seated promptly—within three minutes of checking in. A server approached shortly after to introduce herself and offer to get our drinks, noting that our actual server would be someone else. While I appreciate the good intentions, I personally prefer building rapport directly with the server who will be taking care of us for the evening. It helps create continuity and a more seamless dining experience. Overall, the evening delivered strong hospitality, thoughtful plating, and a warm, polished ambiance. With a few refinements, this spot has all the right ingredients to reach the next tier of dining excellence. I included both pictures of the Ahi Tuna entrees mentioned in the review.

Went in for an early dinner with my family for their visit to Nashville! Our server Mia was AMAZING! Very knowledgeable and personable! The food was outstanding and the manager Shannon stoped by with very kind words and to ensure everything was to our satisfaction! This will definitely be a staple when dad comes to town again!

The food was phenomenal. I had the salmon with cremed spinach and sautéed broccoli with the develed egg for an appetizer. Oh my God, everything on my plate was cooked to perfection. My server was exceptional. She was friendly and professional. I cannot remember her name but, my wife came and sat with me from the party in the private room and she came over ready to take her order. The atmosphere was calming, everyone was so nice and helpful. From the hostesses to the servers. We need yall in Augusta, GA. Especially during Master's Week while half of the world is watching the golfers play in The Master's Tournament at the Augusta National, yall would be the talk of the city.

Very very expensive, food was ok portions were ok, however the one thing I must say, if you like carrot cake, it's good and the size the give is good for 3-4 people....but be ready to pay...we had 2 stakes 12oz, and a 14oz Rib eye steak with mashed potatoes and it was over $140 (painful)

I have been to this restaurant many times and went last night for my birthday with my family. The coffee encrusted filet is phenomenal and this is the only place I have ever seen it. Along with the scalloped potatoes side and the artichoke dip for an appetizer I was so pleased. Everyone enjoyed what they got whether it was the salmon, French onion soup, or other steaks. Our server was so kind and attentive and found out it was my birthday so gave me a free dessert along with champagne and a card signed by the staff. We will be back again before my next birthday for sure!

We came here last night for my brothers birthday dinner. The service was excellent, from the hostesses, to our server. The chips in the spinach dip were fresh and the dip was rich with spinach and cheese. My fiancés salmon was very fresh and perfectly cooked. The deviled eggs were excellent, unique taste compared to the ones I’ve had but in the best way. My brother loved his food, the steak was cooked to the temperature he asked for and the potato was tasty as well.
